BRCGS & IFS
Certification
Food security requirements are growing. Consumers and authorities are increasingly demanding that the foods we all eat must be of high quality and with a high level of safety. If problems occur, the source of the error must be found and rectified quickly. The requirements are primarily aimed at retail, but from there they spread throughout the food chain to the processing industry, primary producers and transporters.

BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION DENMARK A/S
To supply food to a number of English retail chains such as Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury, special approval is required for a number of general things that have an impact on quality and food safety. Many of the requirements for suppliers are described in the BRCGS standard published by British supermarket chain. The chains require an independent external source to review and approve the supplier's quality and food safety system. Bureau Veritas Certification Denmark A/S has been approved by the UKAS accrediting authority, UKAS, to conduct these BRCGS audits.
THE BENEFITS OF A BRCGS CERTIFICATION
